What are the misunderstandings in the use of the elevator?

What common misunderstandings and bad habits do people use in elevators? The four major situations are the most common.

First, the hand-held elevator does not support

1. Many injuries actually come from wrong operations. Last year, 300 accidents occurred in the subway elevators in the first seven months of the city. Over 90% were caused by passengers accidentally falling. Without the handrail, if the elevator suddenly fails, or someone falls in front of it, it is easy to lose the center of gravity and get hurt.

Second, look down on the phone

 1. Smartphones are becoming more and more popular. There are more and more “low-headed people” who are not willing to waste in walking for a minute. They are the high-income people in elevator accidents. When the elevator is in trouble repair or sudden failure, the car is not on the floor, but the elevator door is open. Many "low-headed people" are because they have not noticed, and they have a foot-fall accident or a faulty door. Clamping, the consequences are unimaginable. Some "low-headed people" are used to relying on the elevator door to play mobile phones. At this time, if the elevator suddenly opens the door, it may fall, or even fall into the elevator shaft and cause casualties.

Third, wait for the body to block the door

1. It is a very common behavior to wait for someone to block the elevator door by hand or directly in the elevator door. This behavior is easy to damage the elevator, and the second is not safe. In the event that the elevator sensor fails and the anti-pinch device is not activated, the passenger is likely to be injured due to this habit. The safest way to lift people and others is to hold the door open button by hand.

Fourth, the left and right are misleading

1. Left-right and right-handed is the civilized and public morality that the subway station elevator has advocated for more than ten years. The implementation in Shanghai has been very common. Elevator experts said that this move is not worth promoting. Because the elevator frequency of the Shanghai subway station is extremely high, it is obvious that the components on the right side of the elevator are seriously worn, and even the pedals become loose "saw plates". If the parts are not replaced in time, it is easy to cause a malfunction. In foreign countries, first, there is no such large passenger flow, and secondly, it is often adjusted to balance the running direction of the elevator on both sides of the wear and tear, and it is more suitable to implement the left and right standing.
